About Jane

Wife. Mom. Nana. Memory Maker.

Hi, I’m Jane.

I’ve been married for 35 years to my best friend. Together we’ve built a life centered around faith, family, and making memories. We have one son, two daughters, and eight beautiful grandchildren — two grandsons and six granddaughters who bring so much joy to our lives.

When we’re not cheering on the Chiefs and Royals (Go KC!), my husband and I love traveling cross‑country in our RV and exploring the world together.

And in my free time? I’m scrapbooking - at home, at a retreat, or surrounded by women who love memory keeping as much as I do.

Why I Started Making Memories Collective

Making Memories Collective was created from a simple desire:

To gather women around tables filled with beautiful supplies, meaningful conversation, and just a little creative chaos.

What began as a love for scrapbooking has grown into a boutique-style scrapbooking retreat experience in the Kansas City area - designed to inspire creativity and build genuine community.

Our retreats bring together scrapbookers, paper crafters, and memory keepers for weekend crop events that feel welcoming, relaxing, and uplifting.

The Heart Behind the Retreats

At Making Memories Collective, it’s about more than crafting.

It’s about connection.
It’s about preserving stories.
It’s about stepping away from busy schedules and reconnecting with creativity.

Whether you join us for a National Scrapbook Day celebration or a seasonal scrapbooking retreat near Kansas City, my hope is that you leave refreshed, inspired, and already planning your next creative weekend.

I can’t wait to welcome you to the table.
